Andrews University
Andrews University offers a Doctor of Ministry degree in chaplaincy. Prospective Doctor of Ministry students can choose between a general degree in chaplaincy or a a degree with a special emphasis in health care. To learn more about the programs, click on the link.
Loma Linda University
Loma Linda University’s Master of Science in Chaplaincy program is a professional degree that prepares students for ministry as chaplains. It combines foundational theological knowledge with specialty training and clinical experience. It is a unique and comprehensive master’s degree which meets all requirements for employment as a chaplain at the associates’ level, as defined by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC).
Adventist University of Africa
The Master of Chaplaincy (MChap) degree programme provides basic post-graduate professional preparation for chaplaincy ministries with a broad exposure to other fields of theological study. The MChap programme is intended for those men and women who already have an undergraduate background in ministerial studies and who desire to obtain the basic preparation needed to become professional chaplains. It is also designed to enable practicing pastors/chaplains and intending chaplains to pursue a higher degree.
